Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger
Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger
Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger, manufactured by Bonide Products, is a portable thermal fogger for treating insect infestations outdoors.
Fog RX is lightweight and easy to operate, producing a dense fog that will permeate foliage, cracks, crevices and other insect hiding place.
The Fog RX also has a translucent container so you can see how much insecticide is left in the tank during application. Fog RX is effective against mosquitoes, flies, black flies, gnats and moths.
Tools Needed
To use the Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger, you will need a propane cylinder (sold separately). You will also need a product that is formulated for thermal fogging.
How to Use
- Step 1: Fill the Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger insecticide vessel with a product designed for thermal fogging.
- Step 2: Insert the propane gas cylinder in the appropriate channel on the back of the fogger. Initiate a spark by pushing the ignitor button and wait 1 to 2 minutes for the fogger to heat up.
- Step 3: To release insecticide, pump the trigger handle every 3 to 4 seconds. Apply standing 5 feet away from the target area with the wind at your back to avoid blowback.
- Step 4: When finished fogging, turn the fogger off by pushing the trigger lock to the right side and turn off the propane fuel valve.
Where to Use
The Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger is portable and lightweight and can be used at picnics, outdoor events, camp sites, and for gardening treatments. Though it can be used indoors, it's recommended to treat mainly outdoor areas.
When to Use
Use the Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger when you want to ward off insects from an area for a few hours. The best time to use the fogger is at dusk when wind and temperatures are low, allowing the fogged insecticide to settle in the targeted area.
Safety Information
Wear the necessary PPE before handling the fogger. We recommend gloves, protective eyewear and a safety mask. Do not touch the heater coil when operating as it will be hot. The product is safe to use when applied according to the instruction manual. Do not operate the fogger in areas when people or pets are present. Operate only in well-ventilated areas.
Special Considerations
Make sure to use only insecticide designed for thermal fogging with the Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger.
