Fly Trap Pro 80 Stainless
Fly Trap Pro 80 Stainless
Flytrap Professional 80 Stainless is manufactured by Pelsis and is an extremely service-friendly unit. The Flytrap Professional utilizes high powered UV tubes to attract flying pests and captures the lured flies on a pheromone impregnated glueboard, making it very effective in luring the maximum amount of flies to the unit. It can be mounted by seven different ways providing one of the most flexible and versatile professional fly light models on the market.
Tools Needed
To set up the Flytrap Professional 80, you will need a screwdriver or drill, as well as a level to make sure the product is hung evenly.
How to Use
- Step 1: Before setting the fly light, mark the areas where the screws or anchors will be on the wall if you choose to have it wall mounted. The fly light should be positioned between four to six feet high, because this is normally the area where flies are most active. Be sure your markings are level. It is important to know the material you are drilling into. If your wall is drywall, you will need to screw in the anchors first for effective results. If you are drilling into wood, the anchors are not necessary. Once all of this is done, hold the bracket in place while drilling your anchors and/or screws in. Mount the cage onto the bracket, double-checking to make sure everything is level.
- Step 2: Once you have properly positioned or mounted the fly light, you can then fit the glupac glueboard in position along the two runners with the adhesive side facing the tubes.
- Step 3: Plug the cord into the fly light and plug the other side into an outlet. The product is now ready to use.
Where to Use
The Flytrap Professional is meant only for indoor use. Place the Flytrap Professional in food preparation areas and a variety of other sensitive areas where flies need to be controlled. The ideal height of a fly light is 6 feet off the ground as this is the typical height most flying insects are flying. If you place the fly lights any lower you can be simply drawing the flies into food prep areas. The product should not be used in barns, stables or similar locations.
When to Use
Use the Flytrap Professional when you are encountering flies in food prep and waste disposal areas which can practically be any time of the year. The Flytrap Professional should ideally be in operation for 24 hours a day, ensuring your premises are kept free of flying insects. Insects are most attracted to Flytrap Professional TM at night when there is no competition from daylight or other light sources.
Safety Information
The product is safe to use around pets and children. Please follow the label when it comes to proper usage for safety.
Special Considerations
The manufacturer recommends that glueboards be replaced monthly with a genuine glupac glueboard. Non-approved glueboards may invalidate the manufacturer guarantee. Bulbs should be replaced annually.
