Flea Stoppers
09/16/25
Flea Stoppers is an effective white flea-killing granule that kills flea larvae and adults hiding around your home or structure within 3 to 5 days.
This specially formulated product contains the active ingredient orthoboric acid 100%, which has a low toxicity level, making it safe for children and pets. Fleas will feed on this flea-killing product, then start to dehydrate and eventually die. This fine granule allows for easy application to the carpet and removes very little with daily cleaning activities such as vacuuming.
Flea Stoppers conveniently provides vet-quality flea protection without the expense of a vet visit. This 5 lb. flea treatment container for homes and businesses covers 2,000 sq. ft. and works up to 14 days, effectively disrupting the flea life cycle.
Tools Needed
There are no tools needed to apply Flea Stoppers, but you will need a broom to assist you in spreading the granules and getting the product deep within the fibers of your carpeting.
How to Use
- Step 1: Vacuum all carpets thoroughly and dispose of the bag's contents in an outdoor trash receptacle before application. Determine how much Flea Stoppers to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment in feet and multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Apply 1 lb. per 400 sq. ft. of treatment area.
- Step 2: Apply directly on the carpet where pets frequently visit or sleep. Work the materials into the carpet fibers and mat with a broom or carpet rake. Any material visible after application must be brushed into the carpet fibers or removed. Wait 5 to 7 days before vacuuming.
- Step 3: Allow 3 to 5 weeks to pass after the Flea Stoppers application before reapplying. When this time passes, you can reapply this product if flea activities continue.
Where to Use
Flea Stoppers can only be applied to indoor carpets.
When to Use
Use Flea Stoppers when you have an indoor flea infestation and want a relatively low-toxic method of handling the infestation.
Safety Information
Flea Stoppers is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.
Do not treat pets with this product.
Children and pets should not be in the treatment area until the application is complete.
Special Considerations
Flea Stoppers is not for use on your pets. You will need to use a separate method of treatment, such as a flea bath or flea spray (Petcor Flea Spray) that is safe to put on them.
