FF III Fungicide
FF lll Fungicide is an easy-to-use triple-action preventative and curative fungicide that controls common diseases on turf in golf course tees, greens, and fairways.
03/19/26
FF lll Fungicide, manufactured by Amvac, is a powerful systemic and contact granular fungicide on golf course tees, greens, and fairways for broad-spectrum protection against turf diseases, delivering reliable performance and easy application where premium turf health matters most.
With three distinct modes of action, this fungicide is a great tool in a resistance management strategy. Unlike single-active fungicides, this triple-action approach: Attacks pathogens from multiple angles. Reduces the risk of resistance development. Improves long-term control of persistent turf diseases such as snow mold and microdochium patch.
FF lll Fungicide is a professional-grade granular fungicide designed for the prevention and control of soil-borne turf diseases on golf course tees, greens, and fairways, delivering targeted protection where turf is most vulnerable. Its triple-active formula, granular ease, and golf-exclusive label make it a trusted solution for superintendents who want results without complexity.
Tools Needed
Apply using tractor-drawn equipment only.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much FF lll Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the disease, apply 3.33 to 6.6 pounds of FF lll Fungicide per 1,000 sq. ft. For wider treatment areas, use 145 to 289 pounds of product per acre.
- Step 2: Adjust the spreader to the proper calibration and load the correct amount of granules.
- Step 3: Walk at a steady pace with consistent overlap to ensure uniform coverage. For best results, apply in two passes, half in one direction and half perpendicular. If sufficient rainfall does not occur on the day of application then the treated area must be irrigated with 1/4 inch of water on the day of application. If the treated area is subjected to flooding or unusually heavy rainfall, or if the disease is severe or reappears, treat the area again.
Where to Use
