Ferromec AC Liquid Iron 15-0-0
Ferromec AC Liquid Iron 15-0-0 is an excellent liquid iron that corrects deficiencies, enhances visual quality, and quickly improves plant health in turf and ornamentals without promoting overgrowth.
04/01/26
Ferromec AC Liquid Iron 15-0-0, manufactured by PBI Gordon, is an easy-to-use liquid iron, nitrogen, and sulfur supplement that delivers quick greening in turf and ornamentals without excessive growth.
The 15-0-0 blend gives plants the nutrients it needs to overcome chlorosis (yellowing) and maintain healthy chlorophyll production, which is key to that deep, dark green color plant owners all chase, especially in early spring, summer, and fall recovery periods.
Ferromec AC Liquid Iron 15-0-0 is a great next-generation liquid micronutrient fertilizer for rapid greening, iron chlorosis correction, and consistent turf color without pushing excessive growth. It uses a citric acid buffer system, creating a loose chelation that keeps the iron available for the plant to take up quickly. This increases foliar and root absorption, giving a noticeable green-up in 24–48 hours.
Tools Needed
You will need a handheld pump sprayer or backpack sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Ferromec AC Liquid Iron 15-0-0 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For listed turf, apply 2 to 8 fl. oz of Ferromec AC Liquid Iron 15-0-0 per 0.5 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. To treat bermudagrass, use 4 to 10 fl. oz. of product per 0.5 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and other northern grasses, mix 2 to 8 fl. oz. of product per 0.5 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For shrubs, use 2 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of the leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Do not apply to any flower buds or blossoms of flowers, shrubs, and trees. Three to five applications per growing season usually produce the best results.
