Fast Break Adjuvant
Fast Break Adjuvant is a high-performance antifoaming and defoaming agent that enhances pesticide performance, improves coverage, and reduces drift, all while ensuring crop safety.
04/21/26
Fast Break Adjuvant, manufactured by Winfield United, is a highly concentrated, silicone emulsion antifoam agent designed to prevent and eliminate foam in spray tanks. Its purpose is to improve the efficiency and safety of pesticide applications by ensuring smooth mixing and reducing foam-related issues.
This crop oil concentrate and surfactant blend significantly reduces the surface tension of spray solutions, allowing droplets to spread more uniformly over the leaf surface and adhere better. This is especially important for contact herbicides and insecticides that need direct surface contact to be effective.
Fast Break Adjuvant is a versatile, oil-based adjuvant system that provides superior performance when precision and penetration matter most. It immediately knocks down existing foam, ensuring that spray tanks remain foam-free. This is particularly beneficial when mixing herbicides with soft water, which often leads to excessive foaming.
Tools Needed
It should be applied with a trigger sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or other appropriate equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Read and follow your pesticide label instructions to be sure this product can be mixed. Apply 1 ounce of Fast Break Adjuvant per 100 gallons of solution. Water hardness, temperature, and spray tank mixture may call for more or less. Adjust the rate until the desired control is achieved.
- Step 2: Add Fast Break to the partly water-filled tank first and agitate well before adding other products to the spray solution. If foaming should occur after spray mixture is in tank, this product can be applied directly to the surface using the trigger sprayer for fast foam knockdown.
- Step 3: Wait until foaming is under control or gone before spraying.
Where to Use
Fast Break Adjuvant can be used for land and aquatic sites.
When to Use
If foam has already developed in the spray tank, apply directly to the foam surface to eliminate it quickly.
Safety Information
Fast Break Adjuvant is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Special Considerations
Be sure to properly agitate the solution to completely remove foam.
