Fame Granular Fungicide quick uptake within turf and ornamentals makes it an economically priced disease control products and can provide premium strobilurion protection at a economic price per 1,000 sq. ft.
Tools Needed
Fame Granular Fungicide will need to be applied with either a push spreader or broadcast spreader. Ornamentals may have to be treated with a handheld spreader.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Fame Granular Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the disease infesting your turf, apply between 1.2 to 4.6 lbs. of Fame Granular Fungicide per 1,000 sq. ft. or 100-200 lbs. of product per acre. The maximum single application rate is 200 lbs. of product per acre (4.6 lb. per 1,000 sq. ft.). Do not apply more than 800 lbs. of product per acre per year. There is a maximum number of 4 applications per year. Depending on the disease and size of the ornamental area the rates will vary. Ornamentals that are 100 sq. ft. or less will use between 0.35 to 0.46 lbs. of product per 100 sq. ft. For ornamental areas as large as 1,000 sq. ft. will use 3.5 to 4.6 lbs. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. For acreage applications of ornamentals, apply 150 to 200 lbs. of product per acre. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Calibrate your selected spreader as instructed on the product label. Load the proper amount of Fame Granular Fungicide into the spreader.
- Step 3: Broadcast the Fame Granular Fungicide to the top layer of dry soil. After application, water the granules in until it is completely wet to help move the product into the root zone of plant. Repeat applications as necessary.
