Exponent Insecticide Synergist
Exponent Insecticide Synergist is an additive that, when mixed with insecticide active ingredients, helps to make liquid insecticides more effective.
10/06/25
Exponent Insecticide Synergist, manufactured by MGK, is a synergist that can be mixed with liquid insecticide concentrates to enhance their effectiveness against problem pests.
This product works by interfering with mechanisms that insects use to resist insecticides, making them more susceptible to the active ingredient. Exponent can be mixed in a sprayer or used in mosquito misting systems.
Tools Needed
Exponent Insecticide Synergist can be added to insecticides as a ULV spray, foggers, or a contact spray using a hand-pump sprayer. It can also be mixed in a mosquito misting system.
How to Use
- Step 1: Mix a portion of Exponent with fresh water and an appropriate insecticide concentrate in the spray equipment you choose. Application rates will be found on the insecticide label. The typical rate is between 0.4 and 1.2 oz. of Exponent Insecticide Synergist per 1,000 square feet, depending on whether it is used as a broadcast surface spray or crack and crevice spray. Check the label for detailed application instructions.
- Step 2: Mix well, spray the product on the desired surface, or program your automatic misting system to spray as usual.
Where to Use
Exponent Insecticide Synergist can be used indoors and outdoors, wherever a flying insect problem needs to be addressed. You can safely use it as a space spray or contact spray in residences, hotels, schools, food processing plants, animal shelters, etc. Check the label for the complete list.
When to Use
Use Exponent Insecticide Synergist when insects are infesting a sensitive area, such as your yard or other areas where toxic chemicals are discouraged. Mixing Exponent Insecticide Synergist with a pyrethroid insecticide can strengthen the product and deliver exceptional results.
Safety Information
Exponent Insecticide Synergist is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Special Considerations
Be forewarned that Exponent Insecticide Synergist on its own is not an insecticide but rather is an additive used to be mixed with insecticides. It will on it's own not be able to kill any insects.
