Essentria IC3

Essentria IC3, manufactured by Zoecon, is a natural, organic insecticide concentrate that immediately controls flying and crawling pests like cockroaches within 15 minutes of application.

This flexible broad-spectrum insecticide classifies as an EPA FIFRA 25(b) exempt, meaning it poses little risk to the environment, such as supermarkets, when applied according to the product label instructions.

Essentria IC3 contains the botanically derived active ingredients rosemary oil (10%), geraniol (5%), and peppermint oil (2%). These essential oils offer a natural and safe approach to a wide range of pests, both indoors and outdoors.

Tools Needed

It would be best to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, professional skid sprayer, compressed air sprayer, power sprayer, mist sprayer, mist blowers, automated spray systems, and related application technologies.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Essentria IC3 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Do this by measuring the length and width of the treatment area in feet and then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For general indoor pest control, dilute at the rate of up to 0.5 to 6 fl. oz. of Essentria IC3 per gallon of water. For fogging applications, mix 4 to 10 fl. oz. of product with sufficient oil to equal 1 gallon of diluted spray, then apply at a rate of 1 to 3 fl. oz. per product per 1,000 cubic feet. Refer to the label for more rates.
• Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer halfway with water and then add the measured amount of Essentria IC3. Fill your sprayer the rest of the way with water, secure the sprayer's lid, and shake the sprayer until the solution is thoroughly mixed.
• Step 3: Indoors, spray the mixed Essentria IC3 solution to non-visible areas where these insects are usually found, particularly in cracks and crevices, niches, dark corners, drains, and other harborage sites. When spraying outdoors as direct contact spray on grass, you will need to spray the pests directly. For outdoor perimeter applications, spray 3 feet up the structure and 6 feet wide from the building until the structure and surrounding vegetation are thoroughly wet. To control pests as a fog application, you must cover exposed food and handling surfaces and close and shut off air conditioning or ventilating equipment. Keep the area closed for at least 15 minutes after fog application.

Where to Use

Essentria IC3 can be used indoors and outdoors.

Indoor use areas include, but are not limited to, apartment buildings, homes, hospitals, hotels, houses, industrial buildings, kennels, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, mausoleums, motels, nursing homes, office buildings, schools, stores, supermarkets, warehouses, and similar structures.

Outdoor use areas include, but are not limited to, building foundations, drive-in restaurants, drive-in theaters, golf courses, parks, playgrounds, recreational areas, schools, urban areas, lawns, landscape areas, trees, turf, and zoos.

Modes of transport to be treated with this product are aircraft, buses, trucks, trailers, rail cars, and marine vessels.

Do not apply directly to house plants.

When to Use

This product can be applied when pest activity is witnessed or confirmed.

Safety Information

Essentria IC Pro is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

This product does contain inherently fragrant plant oils. When used in confined spaces, prolonged exposure to the fragrance may be objectionable to some individuals.

Special Considerations

In automatic spraying systems, such as misting systems used for mosquito and other biting insect control, solutions of Essentria IC3 may be stored for extended periods of time, not to exceed one month, as long as the system has agitation and the appropriate quantity of adjuvant is used.
