Essentria All Purpose
Essentria All Purpose
Essentria All Purpose by Zoecon is an effective and safe insecticide. This product is not only certified organic, but it is also made from natural oils which allows it to be used in many locations including areas where other products with strong chemicals or vapors are not allowed. Essentria controls a wide variety of crawling and flying pests and can be applied in many different methods.
Tools Needed
Essentria can be applied in a variety of different methods, including in a pump sprayer, a hose-end sprayer, a backpack sprayer, fogging or misting systems, or a spray rig for large volume application. For household use or spot treatment use, we suggest using a 1-gallon hand pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Measure out the area you plan to apply the product to as this, along with the targeted pest, will determine how much product will be needed and its mix rate. Generally, we recommend mixing .5 to 6 ounces per gallon of water for indoor use and 1 to 8 ounces per gallon for outdoor use. Please read the label for full mix rates.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer halfway with water and measure out the required amount of product and add it to your sprayer. Fill the sprayer with the remaining water and screw on the lid. Thoroughly agitate your sprayer and you’re ready to apply. Agitate your sprayer periodically during use to maintain the proper emulsion.
- Step 3: Apply the product to the desired areas, following label directions and proper safety measures where needed.
- Step 4: Repeat application may be necessary for certain pests, so refer to the label for the proper reapplication rate.
Where to Use
Essentria All Purpose can be used in a wide variety of areas, including indoor and outdoor application, on vegetables or fruit trees, and even onto livestock. Refer to the label for a full list of applicable areas.
When to Use
Essentria can be applied year-round. Some pests may be more active during certain parts of the year, so you can apply at the first signs of pest activity or during an active infestation. Reapplication rates vary depending on the targeted pest and the application rate, so refer to the label for specific direction on your pest and application method.
Safety Information
Essentria is safe to use as it is derived from natural oils, but it is still necessary to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when you are measuring, mixing, and applying the product. Store the product away from open heat or flame, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Special Considerations
Essentria All Purpose is an oil based product. This means it can potentially stain some surfaces like plastic or vinyl siding. It may be necessary to spray a small amount of product in an inconspicuous spot to check for staining. If applied to a surface that will stain, simply rinse the surface with water before the product can dry and wipe with a clean cloth.
