RoundUp QuikPro SC Total
RoundUp QuikPro SC Total is an effective non-selective herbicide that quickly eliminates over 75 types of grassy and broadleaf weeds with three different herbicides into one mix. Formerly known as Esplanade EZ Herbicide.
11/01/25
RoundUp QuikPro SC Total (formerly Esplanade EZ Herbicide), manufactured by Bayer Crop Science, is a non-selective pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide that offers excellent control over a broad spectrum of weeds in non-crop areas, mulched areas, landscape ornamental beds, and more.
This dual-action herbicide kills existing weeds and grasses, such as chickweed, and prevents new weeds and grasses from growing for up to six months after application.
RoundUp QuikPro SC Total is absorbed quickly by unwanted vegetation and is rainfast within 30 minutes. This fast drying time means the easy-to-use herbicide will not wash away easily and works much faster than other products, with visible results in hours.
Tools Needed
You will need to mix it in a backpack sprayer or a handheld pump sprayer.
Do not apply using a steel sprayer except stainless steel.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much RoundUp QuikPro SC Total to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Apply 16 fl. oz. of RoundUp QuikPro SC Total per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. around ornamentals and to the top of the soil in labeled sites. Do not apply more than a maximum of 32 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. per year.
- Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer with half the amount of water, then add a measured amount of RoundUp QuikPro SC Total and pour the remaining half of the water into the sprayer. Close the sprayer tank lid and shake until solution is evenly mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the mixed RoundUp QuikPro SC Total as a directed spray to emerged weeds and to the top layer of soil where weeds were previously present for pre-emergent control. Do not allow spray to contact desirable foliage, stems, green bark, or bare roots of turfgrasses, trees, shrubs, or other listed desirable vegetation since severe damage may result. This product can be applied 4 months after the initial application to extend weed control. Certain hard-to-control weeds can be re-sprayed 1 month after initial treatment only using spot treatment.
Where to Use
Use RoundUp QuikPro SC Total in non-crop areas, including paths, parking lots, curbs, sidewalks, driveways, around buildings, gravel areas, loading ramps, educational facilities, storage yards, vacant lots, fence rows, parks, hardscapes (including cracks and crevices), municipal, mulched areas, landscape ornamental beds, and government sites.
Do not use on desirable turfgrass, over the top of ornamentals, or around the root zone of herbaceous plants.
When to Use
Apply to small and actively growing weeds. Best results will be achieved when temperatures are above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do not use this product in or around vegetable gardens or in landscaped areas where young plants, including ornamental bedding plants (annuals and/or perennials), trees, shrubs, and sod, will soon be planted within 6 months after treatment.
Safety Information
RoundUp QuikPro SC Total is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.
Special Considerations
Seed may be planted 12 months after application of RoundUp QuikPro SC Total.
Disturbing the soil after application may reduce the effectiveness of this product by disturbing the weed-preventative barrier.
