Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide
Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide
Martin's Eraser Max Super Concentrate, manufactured by Control Solutions, Inc., is a systemic, non-selective herbicide for the control of various grasses, broadleaf weeds, and brush and vines. Eraser Max is fast-acting and rain fast within one hour.
Eraser Max Super Concentrate contains a superconcentrate formula of the powerful post-emergent herbicides glyphosate and imazapyr make it effective against hard to control weeds, brush, and trees. Its dual formula will completely kill off weeds within 2 weeks, and its long residual will keep weeds from re-growing for up to 1 year, unlike its counter part Eraser Herbicide.
The difference between Eraser and Eraser Max is that Eraser only contains glyphosate as its active ingredient and has no soil activity. This means it must be applied to the leaves of actively growing plants to be effective. Eraser Max contains glyphosate and imazapyr. This means Eraser Max will have soil activity, which will allow the product to be taken up by plant roots and can move through soil to treat plants where the product was not applied.
Because Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide offers long term total vegetation control, it is ideal for use in areas where you do not want anything to grow, such as along fence rows, gravel paths, sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, and around farm buildings and barns.
Tools Needed
Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide can be applied through the use of pump sprayers, hose end sprayers, backpack sprayers, sprinkling cans, or truck-mounted professional pesticide spray rigs.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide you will need by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. Do this by measuring the area's length and width (in feet), and then multiplying them together (length x width = square feet).
- Step 2: If weeds are taller than 6 inches, mow or cut down the weeds and remove debris before treatment. Allow for 2 weeks of new growth or until full leaf formation has occurred.
- Step 3: Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide can be used for either bareground or spot applications. For bareground/total vegetation control, mix 7.4 fl. oz. of Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide per gallon of water to treat 1,000 sq. ft. Spray the mixture uniformly over areas where total vegetation control is desired. Do not apply more than 7.4 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. per year. For spot control of brush, vines, and weeds, mix 6 fl. oz. of product with 1 gallon of water. Spray the foliage of plants uniformly to the point of wet, not run off.
- Step 4: Re-treatment may be conducted after one year. However, it may be necessary to re-treat every 6 to 8 months in areas of heavy rainfall.
Where to Use
Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide can be used on non-crop areas: industrial sites, petroleum tank farms, lumberyards, manufacturing sites, storage areas, airports, roadsides, curbs, sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, tennis courts, fencerows, along fences of paddocks, corrals, feedlots, and livestock holding areas; hedgerows, dry ditchbanks, around domestic dwellings, around farm buildings and barns, agricultural uncultivated areas, shelter beds, farm yards, farm premises, outdoor buildings, structures and shelters such as beef barns, hog barns, dairy barns, stables, dog kennels, poultry houses; and for establishment and maintenance of wildlife openings.
When to Use
Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide is for applications to areas where no vegetation is desired for up to 1 year. Eraser Max is best used on sunny days when temperatures are above 60 degrees F. Apply to actively growing weeds in early or late summer when targeted plants have full leaf growth or after fruit formation. Apply Eraser Max on calm days when wind speeds are low (under 10 mph) to minimize drift to desirable vegetation.
Safety Information
Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide is safe to use in approved areas and around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Keep all people and pets out and off the treated areas until dry.
Special Considerations
Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide does have soil activity, so it will even affect plants that were not directly sprayed. Be sure to avoid any kind of runoff or spray drift. Do not apply along fence lines if desirable vegetation is growing on the other side or if future planting is desired.

Product Drawbacks | Eraser Max is non-selective and is meant to be used only for total bareground vegetation control or for eliminating brush or vines. |
