Envoy Plus Herbicide

Envoy Plus Herbicide, manufactured by Nufarm, is a superior post-emergent herbicide that delivers precision, flexibility, and lasting results against many troublesome grassy weeds in commercial ornamentals. 

Formulated with the active ingredient clethodim, this selective herbicide is designed to stop grassy weeds in their tracks by interfering with lipid biosynthesis, a critical process for grass plant development. Once absorbed through the foliage, it quickly translocates to the growing points of grass plants, leading to rapid cessation of growth and eventual plant death.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Envoy Plus Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For fallow land applications, use 16 fl. oz. of Envoy Plus Herbicide per 40 gallons of water per acre. For spot treatments, apply 0.44 oz to 0.85 oz. of product with 1 gallon of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until mixed. 
• Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of weed leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Make a second application to actively growing grass 2 to 3 weeks after the emergence of new growth. 

Where to Use

Envoy Plus Herbicide can be used for Conifer Trees, Non-Bearing Food Crops, Non-Crop or Non-Planted Areas, and Ornamentals.

When to Use

Apply when weeds are actively growing, and rainfall is not expected for at least 1 hour after application. 

Safety Information

Envoy Plus Herbicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Keep people and pets out of the treated area for at least 24 hours after application. 

Special Considerations

If Envoy Plus is applied as a spot treatment, care should be taken to not exceed the maximum rate allowed on a “per acre” basis or crop injury may occur.
