Dustick Duster - 21 Foot Reach
Dustick Duster - 21 Foot Reach
The Dustick Duster is manufactured by Advantage Products and is a high-quality professional dusting kit made for applying pesticide dusts and in high, hard-to-reach areas where pests may be residing.
The Dustick Duster comes in a kit of four 4-foot long poles that can extend up to 21 feet in height, making it easy to reach areas where typical dusters are unable like 2 story decks, windows and shutters on upper floors, flood lights and eaves & soffits of a roof. The application end contains a handle to pump air through the dusting reservoir and through the extension pole to disperse dust where aimed.
With a simple squeeze of a trigger, the Dustick Duster delivers a precise puff of dust. The kit includes the extension poles, a dust canister and dusting tip, a pump handle and a convenient carrying bag for all the parts. Use the Dustick Duster to eliminate the need for a ladder to conduct high insecticide dust treatments.
Tools Needed
To use the Dustick Duster all you need is your choice of insecticide dust to input into the duster for application.
How to Use
- Step 1: Before assembling the Dustick, unscrew the cap of the duster and fill with your choice of insecticide dust 3/4th of the way. Replace the cap and remove the rubber stopper at the end of the duster tip.
- Step 2: While holding the duster in one hand, add the pole with two ball joins on either end to the bottom of the duster, latching the part in place with the holes at the bottom of the dust canister. To add more height, add the additional extension poles to the end.
- Step 3: Once the Dustick Duster has reached the height you desire, add the bottom pump to the end pole. Give the duster some preliminary pumps to ensure it is working correctly.
- Step 4: Place the duster tip into the hole, crack or crevice where you will be applying the dust then pump the bottom of the duster a few times to release dust into the target area. You can then repeat the process to the next hole or area you wish to treat.
Where to Use
The Dustick is meant to be used for the application of insecticide dusts in cracks, crevices and holes that are high and out of reach such as the exterior of a two story home, indows and shutters on upper floors, flood lights and eaves & soffits of a roof. It is mainly meant to treat wasp nests, carpenter bees, carpenter ants and other damaging pests found around the home.
When to Use
Use the Dustick Duster preferably in the evening when wasps and bees are more likely to be in the hive or nest at rest.
Safety Information
The Dustick Duster is safe to use when following the manual directions. Keep pets and children away during treatment and from the treatment area until complete. Use the proper PPE (gloves, face mask, goggles) when operating the duster so dust doesnt get into your eye during application.
Special Considerations
The Dustick Duster comes with four 4-foot extension poles, a dusting canister, a pump handle and a carrying bag.
