Duo Stick Select, manufactured by Prime Source LLC, is a specially formulated surfactant that greatly enhances certain pesticides penetration into the waxy cuticle of plants and leaves for greater efficiency.

Due to its formulation, this product can be used with herbicides and pesticides labeled for the use of MVO or MSO, but does not exclude the use of an organosilicon. Because of its unique abilities, Duo Stick Formulation provides superior coverage and penetration than MSO alone.

Duo Stick Select is a fast acting product that helps increase the speed and wetness of most pesticide applications within turf, ornamentals, the surface and submerged surface of aquatic areas.

Tools Needed

To use Duo Stick Select, you will need a selected herbicide or pesticide that is labeled for MVO, MSO, or organosilicon. To mix Duo Stick Select and your selected pesticide you will need to use either a backpack sprayer, pump sprayer, or professional skid sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Duo Stick Select to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area and multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To find acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre 43,560 (square footage / 43,560 = acre). For turf, ornamentals, agriculture, and citrus apply 16 to 48 oz. of Duo Stick Select per 100 gallons of spray solution. For right of ways, forestry site preparation, and aquatic surface areas use 16 to 32 oz. of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. For submerged aquatic sites use 20 to 40 oz. of product per 100 gallons of spray solution.
• Step 2: Following the mixing instructions on your pesticide or herbicide label you will pour in the measured amount of Duo Stick Select into the sprayer tank before agitation. If no mixing instructions are available follow this order while maintaining agitation throughout the mixing process: water to 3/4 target volume, add ams, fertilizer, or micronutrients, if foaming is anticipated then add foaming agent, water soluble actives (dry flowables, granules, etc.), flowable and water soluble actives, Duo Stick Select, and add water to desired target volume.
• Step 3: After mixing with your chosen pesticide or herbicide, apply the spray solution as a coarse, even application to treated foliage. Refer to the selected pesticide to determine where and when treatments or retreatment applications can be made.

Where to Use

Use Duo Stick Select in residential and commercial turf and ornamental foliage. This product may also be used in agricultural settings, citrus, rights of ways, forestry site preparation, and the surface and submerged surface of aquatic areas.

When to Use

Duo Stick Select may be used when pesticides or herbicides require wetness and quick adhesion to foliage. This organosilicon surfactant will work well on warm, sunny days when rainfall is not forecasted within 24 hours after application.

Safety Information

Duo Stick Select is safe to use around children or pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear clean protective personal equipment (PPE) when mixing or applying this product.

As with all spray applications, be sure to clean the mix tank and sprayer equipment from previous spray solution applications.

Special Considerations

Like most surfactants, Duo Stick Select will not product any results when applied alone and must be used with herbicides or pesticides specifically labeled for an MVO or MSO, but does not exclude the use of an organosilicons.
