DSV Disinfectant Sanitizer Viricide
DSV Disinfectant Sanitizer Viricide
DSV Disinfectant Sanitizer Viricide, manufactured by Nisus Corporation, is a powerful and widely used cleaning solution and disinfectant.
This easy to use sanitizer can be used to disinfect and sanitize hard, non-porous surfaces while also killing harmful viruses and fungi that may be present in the treated area.
DSV Disinfectant Sanitizer Viricide is effective against many virulent pathogens and can be used in a wide variety of locations, from hospitals to animal housing and many more.
Tools Needed:
DSV Disinfectant Sanitizer Viricide can be applied in many different ways including traditional cleaning methods such as a cloth, a sponge, or a mop, but also even with a mechanical sprayer like a hand pump sprayer. Use whichever method is most effective for your desired treatment area.
How To Use:
- Step 1: Identify the area you intend to treat, and what method you will be used to treat it. It may be necessary to clean the area preemptively if there is a large buildup of dirt or other contaminants. DSV sanitizer can be mixed at a varying rate depending on your treatment area from 1 to 2 ounces per gallon of water. For hospital disinfection, use 2 ounces per gallon of water. For general disinfectant, use 1.25 ounces per gallon of water. For virucidal treatments on hard, non-porous surfaces use 2 ounces of DSV per gallon of water.
- Step 2: Thoroughly wet the desired area and allow the DSV cleaner to contact the treated area for at least 10 minutes. Keep out pets and people from the treated areas.
- Step 3: After the 10 minute period, you can let the area dry naturally or wipe clean with a cloth or towel.
Where To Use:
DSV Disinfectant Sanitizer Viricide can be used to disinfect a wide variety of areas, including hospitals, nursing homes, homes, hotels, motels, institutional and industrial buildings, schools; dairy, equine, poultry/turkey farms, veterinary buildings, restaurants, food handling and processing areas, meat and poultry plants, bars, and institutional kitchens, and harvesting and handling equipment. Refer to the label for the full list of applicable sites.
When To Use:
Use DSV Disinfectant Sanitizer Viricide to clean areas that are infested and eliminate molds, fungi, and other contaminants from an area either when they first show signs of forming or after an infestation. DSV can be used regularly to maintain a sterile environment, so it is an excellent product for routine sanitation and maintenance.
Safety Information:
DSV Disinfectant Sanitizer Viricide is safe to use when applied according to the labeled directions. It is important to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) anytime you are handling, mixing, or applying this product. Be sure to allow the product to sit for at least 10 minutes before wiping it away.
Special Considerations:
DSV Disinfectant Sanitizer Viricide can be used in a large variety of locations, but it is important to read the product label for your specific treatment areas, as treatment methods can vary depending on the location.
