Droplex Xtra Adjuvant

Droplex Xtra Adjuvant, manufactured by Winfield United, is a premium, plant-based spray adjuvant that enhances pesticide applications by enhancing coverage, reducing drift, and minimizing evaporation for lawns, golf courses, aquatic sites, and more. 

It contains advanced polymers and surfactants that alter droplet size to reduce drift while improving deposition. It promotes larger, heavier droplets that are less likely to be carried away by wind, while also ensuring these droplets spread out more evenly once they land on the target surface. Thanks to its surface tension reduction properties, Droplex Xtra enables pesticide sprays to move deeper into plant canopies, reaching insect harborage zones, disease hot spots, and weed crowns.

Droplex Xtra Adjuvant is an effective nonionic and oil-free surfactant that delivers big performances in small doses for various vegetation and aquatic areas. Tools Needed

It can be used with various application equipment such as injection systems, backpack sprayers, handheld pump sprayers, hose-end sprayers, and spray rigs. 

How to Use 

• Step 1: Determine how much Droplex Xtra Adjuvant to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. For square footage, measure the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Droplex Xtra Adjuvant should be applied at a rate of 16 to 32 fl. oz. per acre. 
• Step 2: Fill the spray tank halfway with water (however much is needed with the pesticide you are mixing with). Add pesticides according to label instructions. Add Droplex Xtra at the recommended rate. Fill the rest of the tank with water while continuing to agitate.
• Step 3: Spray according to the pesticide label instructions. 

Where to Use

Droplex Xtra Adjuvant can be used for land and aquatic settings such as turf, including golf courses, lawns, sports fields, etc., ornamental, vegetation management, aquatic, and pest control applications.

When to Use

It is highly recommended when you need to control drift such as near sensitive sites and improve penetration of pesticides.

Droplex Xtra Adjuvant is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Special Considerations

Do not mix Droplex Xtra with AirTech, Atmos, or Breeze in an induction system or container when all the products are undiluted. Once they are mixed in water, all the products are compatible in any mixing order.
