Doxem NXT

Doxem NXT, manufactured by CSI, is an easy-to-use professional aerosol insecticide that quickly knocks down pests like ants or bed bugs upon contact with 2 adulticides and prevents new adults from developing into sexual maturity with 2 IGRs. Once applied to labeled areas, this specially formulated aerosol kills and repels pests for up to 180 days after application.

Designed with 4 unique modes of action, eliminating the mixing process of different pesticides and avoiding resistance within pest populations. The first aerosol contains indoxacarb and is combined with imidacloprid. This is further seen with its ability to use other non-repellent pesticides, including baits.

Doxem NXT is a ready-to-use aerosol solution featuring a flexible label. This makes it compatible with food handling sites, mattresses, cracks and crevices, voids, and spot applications.

Tools Needed

Doxem NXT comes ready to use, with no other application tools needed. It is built with a unique actuator that has two different spray modes.

For spot treatments, ensure the injection tube points down and clips into the actuator so the broad-spray orifice correctly points out. Unclip and lift the tube so it points downward for crack and crevice treatments.

How to Use

• Step 1: Remove people and animals from the treatment area before application. In the home, cover or thoroughly wash all food processing surfaces and utensils following treatment if contaminated. Cover exposed food and drinking water or remove from the area being treated. Determine how much Doxem NXT to use by measuring the square footage of the area to be treated. To do this, measure the length and width in feet, then multiply (length X width = square footage). All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or cracks-and-crevices treatments only.
• Step 2: Unclip and lift the injection tube so it points outwards to use as a crack and crevice application. Place the injector tip into cracks, crevices, holes, and other small openings for direct spray to target listed insects or make preventative treatments. You will spray along the lengths of these openings as you apply Doxem NXT. For light infestations or for preventative treatment, spray Doxem NXT along the length of the opening in 1-second applications at a speed of 3 feet per second and space the applications out about 3 feet apart. For heavy infestations, apply this product at 1 foot per second with 12" (1 foot) of space between each application. For inaccessible closed voids, calculate the void volume and treat at a rate of five to ten seconds per three cubic feet. Do not apply more than once per 7 days.
• Step 3: Make sure the injection tube points down and clipped into the actuator as a spot treatment. Hold Doxem NXT 12 to 15 inches from the surface to be treated and apply at the rate of 2 seconds per 2 sq. ft. Treat insects directly and ensure the product makes contact with all pests in the area. Spot treatments must NOT exceed two square feet in size (for example, 2 ft. by 1 ft. or 4 ft. by 0.5 ft.). Do not apply more than once per 7 days.
• Step 4: After any application, do not allow adults, children, or pets into the treated area until Doxem NXT has completely dried.

Where to Use

Doxem NXT can be used in and around: Apartments, Non-Food/Non-Feed Storage Areas, Food/Feed Handling Establishments, Homes, Hospitals, Hotels, Kennels, Animal Housing Facilities (poultry houses, cattle, sheep, swine, goat and dairy facilities, horse stables, and pet sleeping quarters), Medical Facilities, Motels, Nursing Homes, Resorts, Non-Food/Non-Feed and Food/Feed Areas of Restaurants and other Food/Feed Handling Establishments, Schools, Stores, Supermarkets, Modes of Transport (Buses, Boats, Ships, Trains, Trucks, Planes (cargo areas only)), Utility Rooms, Warehouses, and other Commercial and Industrial Buildings.

Outdoors: Apply to surfaces on buildings, porches, patios, and other structures, openings around doors and windows, eaves and attic vents, utility entry points, weep holes, soffit areas, and other exterior openings (including foundation cracks or drilled holes) where listed pests may enter the structure or where they have been seen or found or can find shelter. Apply to ant trails, around doors and windows, in crawl spaces, and other places where ants may be found. Do not apply this product outdoors to fire or carpenter ants.

Do not apply this product to animal feedstuffs, water, or watering equipment. Do not apply it directly into sewers or drains or to any area like a gutter where drainage to storm sewers, water bodies, or aquatic habitats can occur unless it is labeled for drain treatment.

When to Use

Doxem NXT can be used whenever flying or crawling pest activity has been witnessed. In outdoor sites, apply when calm weather and rain are not predicted for 24 hours after application.

Safety Information

Doxem NXT is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying and handling this product.

Do not allow adults, children, or pets to enter the treated area until the sprays have dried.

This product cannot be used in electrical equipment (with exposed wiring or contact points) due to the possibility of short circuits and shock hazards.

Special Considerations

For termites, the purpose of this application is to kill workers and/or winged reproductive forms of termites that are present at the time of treatment. It is not intended to provide structural pest control or a substitute for mechanical alteration, soil, and foundation treatment but merely as a supplement.

This product may leave a slight residue with heavy applications, but it can easily be removed with soap and water.

Doxem NXT is an effective insecticide that will kill pests and bust their life cycles. Most active infestations cannot be controlled through the use of one product. Depending on the pest you are controlling, you will need to use this product with a bait or dust.
