How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Dominion Tree & Shrub you will need by first calculating the square footage of the area you wish to treat. To do this, measure (in feet) and multiply the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). Application method and mix rates will vary depending on your targeted pest and treatment site. Typically, you will mix Dominion Tree & Shrub at a rate of 1.5 tsp (0.25 fl. oz.) per gallon of water in a pump sprayer. For a soil drench application using Dominion Tree & Shrub mix at a rate of 3 fl. oz. per gallon of water per 333 square feet. Or at 9 fl. oz. per 3 gallons per 1,000 square feet. So for example, if you wanted to do a foliar spray and have a 3,000 sq. ft. area to treat. you would need to mix 4.5 tsp (0.66 oz.) of Dominion Tree & Shrub in 3 gallons of water. Do not use more than 3.2 gallons of Dominion Tree and Shrub per acre per year and 9.4 oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. per year.
- Step 2: In your selected sprayer, add half the required amount of water then the appropriate measured amount of Dominion Tree & Shrub based on your calculations. Shake the sprayer tank and then add the remaining half of water and agitate again until the solution is well mixed.
- Step 3: Make applications in areas listed on the label, spraying to wet all the foliage and underside of leaves.

Q:Which product to use, Ferti-lometree and shrub drench or Dominion Tree & Shrub? I need to know which is more effective at controlling western flower thrips.4/26/22A:Dominion Tree & Shrub will not permanently remove thrips infestations, but merely suppress them on outdoor trees and shrubs, and on bedding plants, flowers, trees, shrubs, groundcovers and woody ornamentals in landscape plantings. They will only permanently be killed in lawns. Ferti-lome Tree and Shrub Drench kills thrips on outdoor trees and shrubs including listed fruit and nut trees. Depending on the site will determine which one of these products to use.
