How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Dominion Fruit Tree & Vegetable Insecticide to use by measuring the size of the tree or crop you intend to treat. To find the size of the tree, you will measure the distance around the tree trunk. Measure distance in inches around the tree trunk at chest height. If there are multiple tree trunks, add their measurements together. For square footage, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To treat listed vegetables, herbs, berry crops, and grapes use 1/2 oz. of Dominion Fruit Tree & Vegetable Insecticide in 1 quart of water per 10 sq. ft. of vegetable row to be treated. For fruit and nut trees such as cherries, peaches, apples, and pears, apply 1 oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 3 ft. from trunk to dripline. For fruit and nut trees such as banana and plantain, citrus, pomegranate, tree nut, and tropical fruit including lemon, lime, orange, mango, and avocado, use 1.5 oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 3 ft. from trunk to dripline. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: For hose-end sprayers, fill the container with the measured amount of Dominion Fruit Tree & Vegetable Insecticide then spray until the proper amount of water is added. All other sprayers, you will need to pour half the amount of water then add in the correct amount of product. Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with the remaining half of water and agitate until solution is mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the mixed Dominion Fruit Tree & Vegetable Insecticide to the top layer of soil until wet between each crop row. Pour the mixed product solution evenly onto the ground around the base of the tree. Do not make more than one application per year. Do not harvest until the proper interval has been met according to the product label.
