Divanem Insecticide

Divanem Insecticide, manufactured by Syngenta, is an excellent turf insecticide that controls a broad spectrum of nematodes, resulting in durable, stress-tolerant turf.

Effectively manages key nematode species, including sting, root-knot, lance, and ring, providing comprehensive protection for turfgrass. By defending roots from nematode damage, Divanem promotes healthier and denser root systems, leading to improved water and nutrient absorption.

Divanem Insecticide is an effective suspended concentrate insecticide that significantly increases turf quality and delivers more product to the grass root zone.

Tools Needed

A hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig may be used.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Divanem Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Apply 6.25 to 12.2 fl. oz. of Divanem Insecticide per 100 gallons of water per acre. To make a curative spot treatment apply 12.2 oz. of product and repeat up to 4 times at the prescribed intervals. For curative spot treatments treat no more than 10,000 sq ft per acre per year. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and agitate until well-mixed.
• Step 3: Spray evenly across the treated area until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Irrigate with 0.1 to 0.5 inches of water beginning within 1 hour of application to move Divanem through the thatch. For best results, irrigate before the spray droplets have dried on the turf.

Divanem Insecticide can be used on golf courses and professional and collegiate sports fields.

When to Use

Apply in the early morning while grass is wet with dew or irrigate the area prior to application with 0.1 inches of water.

Avoid applications when turf is under heat or moisture stress.

Safety Information

Divanem Insecticide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Do not graze treated turf or feed turf clippings from any treated area to poultry or livestock.

Keep people and pets out of treated areas until the spray has completely dried.

Divanem is compatible with Daconil Action, Banner MAXX, Headway, Heritage TL, Heritage Fungicide, Heritage Action, Subdue MAXX, and Velista turf fungicides.
