Densicor Fungicide
Densicor Fungicide
Densicor Fungicide, manufactured by Bayer, is a powerful suspended concentrate fungicide that eliminates the hardest-to-control of diseases in warm-seasoned and cool-seasoned golf course turf.
This new DMI fungicide offers a wide range of disease control with one simple application rate, making applications effortless and easy for professional course owners.
Densicor Fungicide is a strong curative broad-spectrum fungicide that cures common diseases like brown patch within 14 days.
Tools Needed
Densicor Fungicide can only be applied with ground application equipment.
Do not use with handheld application equipment, including mechanically pressurized spray gun, backpack or tank pressurized spray gun, spray hawk or handheld boom applicators.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Densicor Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Apply 8.5 fl. oz. of Densicor Fungicide in 40 gallons of water per acre.
- Step 2: Fill your selected ground application equipment with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Densicor Fungicide, and remaining half of water. Shake until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the Densicor Fungicide no more than 4 feet above the ground or plant canopy until the area is wet, but not to the point of runoff.
Where to Use
Apply Densicor Fungicide only to golf course turfgrass.
When to Use
Use Densicor Fungicide when diseases first appear or are present on turf. Spray this product when rainfall is not expected for 48 hours after application.
Safety Information
Densicor Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not enter or allow people or pets to enter treated areas until sprays have dried.

Turfgrass injury and/or inferior disease control may result upon failure to follow Densicor Fungicide label directions.

Keith's Pro Tips | "For resistance management, DENSICOR contains prothioconazole, a Group 3 fungicide. Any fungal population may contain individuals naturally resistant to Densicor Fungicide and other Group 3 fungicides. A gradual or total loss of pest control may occur over time if these fungicides are used repeatedly in the same turf areas. For this reason, we suggest rotating the product." |
