Tools Needed

To use Demand EZ Insecticide, you will need to use either a hose end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig. For small household jobs, we recommend a handheld 1-gallon pump sprayer or a 4-gallon backpack sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Demand EZ Insecticide to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply (length X width = square footage). Measure the square footage of the area you will be treating. You can do this by multiplying the length times width. After you have the square feet to be treated, divide by 1,000 to get the number of finished gallons of spray you will need to use. For example, if you have 3,000 sq.ft. to treat you will need (3,000/1,000) 3 gallons of solution.
• Step 2: Determine your mix rate for the target insect. Demand EZ Insecticide can be mixed between 3.2 fl oz per gallon of water but may vary. You can find the exact rates on the product label.
• Step 3: Dilute Demand EZ with water and mix well into a sprayer.
• Step 4: Apply the product according to labeled directions in the areas where you are having pest infestations. Apply a band 10 feet wide around the perimeter and up to 3 feet high on a foundation. Use all around structures and in cracks and crevices where bugs may harbor.
• Step 5: Keep pets and people off of treated areas until dry. Demand EZ should kill pests in 1-2 days and is still active for up to 90 days after application

Where to Use

Demand EZ can be used inside place such as homes, offices, and other man-made structures. It also is safe and effective to use outdoors on places like turf and livestock sites. Apply a band 10 feet wide around the perimeter and up to 3 feet high on a foundation and around windows, doors, and roof overhangs. Indoors you can apply as a coarse, low pressure spray to areas where these pests hide, such as baseboards, corners, storage areas, closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, attics, eaves and behind appliances.

When to Use

You will want to use Demand EZ when pest activity is high. For most areas of the country, this is between March and October. You will want to spray every 30-90 days depending on rain and pest pressure. 

Safety Information

Demand EZ Insecticide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropraite personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing or applying this product.

Keep children and pets off treated areas until spray has dried following the application.

Special Considerations

Demand EZ is a microencapsulated insecticide so thay means it can settle out once diluted in water. Because of this, we recommend that anything you mix up be used the same day. It is also necessary to constantly agitate the solution in a spray tank during treatment.
