Tools Needed

A hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, injection equipment, or spray rig can be used. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Contrado SC Turf Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For golf courses, turf, lawns, recreational turf, landscapes, and interior plantscapes, use 0.05 to 0.46 fl. oz. of Contrado SC Turf Insecticide per 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. depending on the pest. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed. 
• Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of the leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Irrigate immediately after application or allow rainfall to move the product into the soil. 

Where to Use

Contrado SC Turf Insecticide can be used in or on golf courses; sports and recreational turf; lawns and landscaped areas on and around residential, commercial and institutional properties; and interior plantscapes. 

When to Use

Apply before or during active pest infestations on days when rainfall is not expected to occur within 48 hours of application.

Contrado SC Turf Insecticide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until the spray has dried.

Do not use for commercial grass seed production.
