Compendium Fungicide
Compendium Fungicide is a professional fungicide that combines two powerful ingredients together for a wider preventative and curative control over major turf diseases.
01/09/26
Compendium Fungicide, manufactured by Syngenta, is a strong dual-action fungicide that combines the strength of azoxystrobin and propiconazole to control and cure major lawn diseases in cool and warm-seasoned turf.
Effective against major turf diseases such as brown patch, dollar spot, fairy ring, gray leaf spot, and more, reducing the need for multiple fungicides. Regular use enhances turf density and color, leading to more aesthetically pleasing lawns.
With flexible application timing, ease of use, and a broad spectrum of control, Compendium Fungicide is an invaluable tool for lawn care professionals aiming to maintain healthy, disease-free turf.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Compendium Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the turf apply 1.3 to 2.6 fl. oz. of Compendium Fungicide per 2-4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For spot treatments, use 1.3 fl. oz. of product per 1 to 2 gallons of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of plant leaves until wet, but not the point of runoff. Reapply 14 to 28 days later.
Where to Use
Compendium Fungicide can be used in lawns and landscape areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, and athletic fields.
When to Use
Apply before or during disease outbreaks when soil temperatures are at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit at a 2-inch soil depth.
Safety Information
Compendium Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not graze or feed clippings from treated turf areas to animals.
Keep people and pets out of the treated area until 24 hours have passed after application.
Special Considerations
Compendium has demonstrated some phytotoxic effects when mixed with products that are formulated as Emulsifiable Concentrates (EC’s). These effects are enhanced if applications are made under cool, cloudy conditions, and these conditions remain for several days following application. In addition, adjuvants that contain some form of silicone have also contributed to phytotoxicity.
