ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor, manufactured by Susan Mcknight, is an environmentally friendly deadfall trap that prevents bed begs from escaping when traveling to and from furniture.

This unique products accommodates the legs of furniture and bed frames ranging between 12 X 9 X 12 inches. Designed with an center and outer well this product will work to provide multiple barriers before the bed bug can crawl out nor will it be able to due to the smoothness of walls. Leading to superior bed bug control without the aid of toxic chemicals or pesticides.

ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor is a larger bed bug monitor system that aids in protecting furniture from infestation and early detection within homes.

Tools Needed

No additional application tools are required for ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor. You will need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves when handling this product.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine furniture that is frequently used by people or animals in your environment. Move any clothing hanging off furniture or placed on floor, tuck-in loose fabric materials hanging off beds or touching walls (such as sheets, covers, or other bedding), and disconnect all electrical cords between bed and wall. This will help to remove pathways for bed bugs to travel.
• Step 2: Carefully lift the leg of bed frame, headboard, and furniture to place the ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor underneath. Ensure that the leg is in the center of product. Only touch (with a gloved covered hand) the exterior surface of outer product walls as the interior is pre-lubricated with Talc.
• Step 3: Continually monitor the ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor on a daily basis for bed bug activity. If pests are found within the trap then remove with a cotton ball covered with a small amount of Talc and place immediately into a sealed plastic bag for disposal. Leave the ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor for a minimum of 21 days.

Where to Use

Use ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor on the inside of residential homes around the furniture legs of beds, sofas, armchairs, couches, and double headboard legs.

This product may prove to be ineffective for legless furniture or furniture with skirts or trims touching the floor.

When to Use

ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor may be used when bed bug activity is first witness, after periods of travel, and when there is an active infestation. Apply this product around furniture that is constantly being used by people, children, or pets as bed bugs will leave areas they are infesting towards sources with constant activity.

ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor is safe to use around children or pets when used according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or applying this product.

Special Considerations

If ClimbUp XL Insect Interceptor are compromised in a way, debris will need to be removed, relubricated, or discarded.
