Chelated General Purpose Flower & Garden Nutritional Spray, manufactured by Southern Ag, is a gentle, yet highly effective micronutrient supplement designed to correct and prevent the deficiencies that cause yellowing, weak growth, and poor plant performance in flower beds, vegetable gardens, lawns, and shrubs.

This product is not a replacement for fertilizer and that’s a good thing. Instead, it: Fills nutrient gaps, enhances fertilizer efficiency, and helps plants actually use the nutrients you apply. This balanced approach helps correct multiple deficiencies at once, which is especially useful when symptoms overlap.

Chelated General Purpose Flower & Garden Nutritonal Spray is a versatile, effective solution for preventing and correcting micronutrient deficiencies that cause yellowing, weak growth, and poor plant performance. By supplying six essential nutrients,including iron, manganese, zinc, magnesium, copper, and sulfur in highly absorbable chelated form, it helps plants quickly regain healthy green color and vigor.

Tools Needed

A backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or hose-end sprayer could be used.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Chelated General Purpose Flower & Garden Nutritional Spray to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For foliage applications on vegetables, apply 1 1/2 to 2 quarts of Chelated General Purpose Flower & Garden Spray per 100 gallons of water (1 tablespoonful of product per gallon of water). For soil applications on vegetables, use 1 fluid ounce of product in 1 gallon of water per 100 sq. ft. For lawns, apply 1 to 2.5 gallons of product per acre (16 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft.). 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, pour in the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
• Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of plant leaves to the point of runoff. For shrubs and trees, treat the root area. This area usually extends out as far as the foliage.
