FMC Residual Fogger
FMC Residual Fogger
FMC Residual Fogger (Formerly known as the CB PCO Fogger), manufactured by FMC Pro Solutions, is an effective aerosol insecticide bomb formulated with pyrethrins for a quick knockdown of indoor pests like moths or cockroaches and 2 synergists to provide a powerful effect against severe infestations.
Formulated with the active ingredient esfenvalerate (piperonyl butoxide) 0.100%, which provides a maximum flushing and kill of targeted insects like rice weevils from deep cracks and crevices. Additionally, this ingredient creates a 30 day residual effect within various indoor sites such as non-food and food areas.
FMC Residual Fogger comes as a convenient fogger (bomb) to quickly eliminate and repel insects up to 5,000 sq. ft. from their breeding and nesting sites. With its ready to use design and active ingredients this fogger creates a cost-effective way to treat large infested areas at one time.
Tools Needed
Tools are not needed to use the FMC Residual Fogger. To safely set off the fogger some newspapers, a table or something sturdy to sit the can on will be needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: The FMC Residual Fogger is meant to be applied indoors and can cover an unobstructed area of 5,000 cubic feet. Determine the cubic footage of the area you are treating by measuring (in feet) the area length, width and height and multiplying the values (length x width x height = cubic footage).
- Step 2: Prior to fogging in a residential site, remove all pets out of the home, cover fish tanks, remove pet food and water before activating the fogger. Remove and cover dishes, utensils, food processing appliances, and cover kitchen counter tops. All doors and windows must be closed.
- Step 3: Place several layers of newspaper on a stand or table in the middle of the room. Lock the valve on the can in the open position and place it in the middle of the newspapers. Do not set the Residual Fogger can near heat sources, pilot lights, or open flames.
- Step 4: Wait 2 hours and ventilate the room for a half hour before re-entering. Do not stay indoors in any part of the home while the fogger is activated.
Where to Use
The FMC Residual Fogger can be used in residential homes, apartments, manufacturing plants, storage, packing plants, offices, locker rooms, and other areas where food is not out in the open and humans and animals are not present.
When to Use
The FMC Residual Fogger is ideal to use when infestations of targeted insects are severe and when an economical, easy treating method is needed.

FMC Residual Fogger is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.

Q:I am not sure if I have fruit flies or drain flies/gnats. I have this can (Fogger) which I'm going to use tomorrow...but I am a little nervous about it. I know to put newspaper on the table, put the can in the middle and activate.....I'm concerned about my kitchen....how much do I have to clean up after this fog goes off? Like the kitchen stove, the burners, etc. the sink or counter tops with cannisters on them....It explains how to start this.....but I want to be just as thorough afterwards...the living room furniture, wood floors. Can someone tell me what I'm supposed to do when I come home besides rolling up the newspaper and throwing the can away. I would appreciate any reassurance you can give me so I do the Before and After correctly. Sincerely8/7/22A:I have only used these in my cellar, under my house, and in the attic so i'm not too sure. However, the best thing is to cover everything with a cloth or papers that you don't want to get the fog on. And, yes, I would think you would need to clean anything you will use to make food in. That's all I know.
