Brandt Ultra 90
Brandt Ultra 90 is a unique spreader and activator that enhances the coverage, penetration, and absorption of the active ingredients in pesticides.
11/04/25
Brandt Ultra 90, manufactured by Brandt, is a high-performing non-ionic surfactant that improves the wetting and effectiveness of pesticide solutions for agricultural, aquatic, turf, ornamental, and other application sites.
It is a non-ionic surfactant, which means this product will reduce the surface tension of spray droplets, allowing them to spread more evenly on plant surfaces. This ensures total plant coverage and improved absorption of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, foliar nutrient sprays, and other pesticides.
Brandt Ultra 90 helps improve the performance of herbicides and ensures quicker drying time for treated conditions due to its humectant. This highly concentrated product means you will only need a small amount to achieve significant results, making it economical.
Tools Needed
This product can be used with a handheld sprayer, backpack sprayer, spray rig, or aircraft application equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine if the pesticide can be mixed with Brandt Ultra 90 and examine the treatment area. For air or ground equipment, use 1/2-4 pints of Brandt Ultra 90 per 100 gallons of finished spray solution. For improved efficacy, use at least 1/2 pint per acre when finished spray volume is less than 20 gallons per acre. For backpack or hand-held sprayers, use 1/2 fl. oz. of product per gallon of finished spray solution.
- Step 2: Mix the pesticide solution according to its product label instructions and add in the Brandt Ultra 90 accordingly.
- Step 3: Spray the mixed pesticide solution with this product as instructed on the product label.
Where to Use
Brandt Ultra 90 can be used for agricultural, aquatic, forestry, turf and ornamental, industrial, structural and non-cropland sites.
Not for use with aquatic areas in Washington.
When to Use
Apply when you wish to increase the penetration and absorption of your selected pesticide material.
