Tools Needed

No additional application tools are necessary as this product comes ready to use.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Weed Beater Ultra RTS to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). To treat cool-seasoned turf, apply 32 fl. oz. of Bonide Weed Beater Ultra RTS per 21,000 sq. ft. For warm-seasoned turf, use 32 fl. oz. of product per 42,000 sq. ft. The maximum application rate is 6.67 pints of product per acre per application. The maximum number of broadcast applications is limited to 2 per year with a minimum of 30 days between applications. The maximum seasonal rate is 13.34 pints of product per acre per year excluding spot treatments.
  • Step 2: Connect a garden hose to the hose-end sprayer. Make sure the control valve on the nozzle is in the OFF position. Turn on the water at the faucet. Point (Aim) the nozzle toward the lawn and turn the control valve to the ON position. Water will automatically mix with the product. Spray evenly over the measured area.
  • Step 3: Spray evenly over the measured area. Walk at a steady pace. Do not irrigate or water the turfgrass within 24 hours after application.
  • Step 4: To stop spraying: turn the control valve to the OFF position. Turn off the water at the faucet. To relieve (discharge) pressure, turn the control valve to the ON position and wait until the water stops spraying before removing the sprayer from the hose.
