Bonide Sedge Ender RTS
Bonide Sedge Ender RTS is a powerful pre- and post-emergent herbicide combination that tackles many problematic grassy weeds on both warm-seasoned and cool-seasoned lawns.
11/02/25
Bonide Sedge Ender RTS, manufactured by Bonide, is a great ready-to-use herbicide designed to eliminate present and germinating grassy weeds on warm and cool-seasoned turf with minimum effort.
The simplicity of this ready-to-spray hose connection herbicide is only enhanced by its selective mode of action. Once applied to troublesome weeds such as yellow nutsedge, dandelions, and poa annua they will begin to perish immediately while being gentle on most turfgrasses. Paired with its pre-emergent control, Bonide Sedge Ender RTS will protect residential lawns for months, ensuring your turf stays healthy and vibrant.
Bonide Sedge Ender RTS is an exceptional pre- and post-emergent herbicide that effectively manages tough weeds like crabgrass and more. Once the product has dried, it becomes rainproof in hours, ensuring its effectiveness and minimizing costly reapplications even after rainfall or irrigation.
Tools Needed
No additional application tools are needed, but you will need a garden hose to connect it too.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Sedge Ender RTS to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For cool-seasoned grasses, apply 2.75 fl. oz. of Bonide Sedge Ender RTS per 1,000 sq. ft. Perform a second application at the rate of 2.75 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. when 30-60 days have passed from the first treatment. To treat warm-seasoned grasses, use 5.5 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. For St. Augustinegrass, apply 4.0 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. A second application at the rate of 4.0 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. when 30-60 days have passed from the first application. This product may be applied more than once per year if needed as long as the total amount applied does not exceed the maximum application rate listed per turf type or 8.25 fl. oz./1,000 sq. ft. per calendar year, whichever is lower
- Step 2: Connect a garden hose to the hose-end sprayer. Make sure the control valve on the nozzle is in the OFF position. Turn on the water at the faucet. Point (Aim) the nozzle toward the lawn and turn the control valve to the ON position. Water will automatically mix with the product.
- Step 3: Spray evenly over the measured area. Walk at a steady pace.
- Step 4: To stop spraying: Turn the valve to OFF position. Turn off the water at the faucet. To relieve (discharge) pressure, turn control valve to ON position and wait until the water stops spraying before removing the sprayer from the hose.
