Bonide Malathion 50E Insect Control Concentrate, manufactured by Bonide, is an effective malathion-based insecticide concentrate that controls a broad-spectrum of insects on residential fruits, vegetables, and ornamentals.
This suspended concentrate kills a variety of pests such as aphids, spider mites, scales, and more on contact with the active ingredient malathion. It’s ingredient works to kill off pests by preventing their nervous systems to function properly causing impaired movement and breathing leading to death within 3-7 days.

Tools Needed
It can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, thermal fogger, hose-end sprayer, or garden sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Malathion 50E Insect Control Concentrate to use by measuring the treatment area’s square footage. To find the square footage, measure the treatment area’s length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Depending on the pest and crop the application rates will vary. To treat ornamentals, use 1 to 3 fl. oz. of Bonide Malathion 50E Insect Control Concentrate per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
 - Step 2: Fill the tank sprayer with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then add in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake well until mixed.
 - Step 3: Spray thoroughly to the top and bottom of leaves until slightly dripping.
