Captain Jack's Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate
Captain Jack's Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is a multipurpose spray for killing harmful pests and diseases on fruit trees, flowers, and ornamental plants.
09/13/25
Captain Jack's Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate, manufactured by Bonide, is a versatile spray concentrate that functions as an insecticide, miticide, fungicide, and nematicide.
It contains the active ingredient cold-pressed neem oil 70.0%, which helps control a variety of common diseases and insects that can damage or infest fruits, flowers, and ornamentals.
Captain Jack's Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate mixes with water instantly, with no messy powders, ensuring that the average homeowner's sprayer equipment nozzles will not clog.
Tools Needed
A hose-end sprayer, a handheld pump sprayer, or a backpack sprayer is needed to make applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Captain Jack's Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet, then multiply them together (length x width = square footage). For general insect and disease control, mix 3 tablespoons of Captain Jack's Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate per gallon of water. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer tank halfway with the required amount of water. Based on your calculations, add the correct amount of product and then add the remaining half of the water. Agitate the sprayer until the solution is well mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the product mixture on the upper and lower leaves, fruit branches, trunk, stems, and branches until lightly dripping.
Where to Use
Captain Jack's Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate can be used on listed fruits, nuts, and citrus trees.
When to Use
Depending on the foliage, applications should be made during the dormant or growing season, depending on insect and disease activity.
To avoid potential leaf burn, apply the product early in the morning or late in the evening.

Captain Jack's Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing or applying this product.
