04/01/26
Bonide Eight Insect Control Vegetable, Fruit, & Flower Concentrate, manufactured by Bonide, is a highly effective permethrin-based insecticide solution for homeowners and gardeners who need reliable contact and residual control over various pests in lawns, trees, flowers, and more.
This concentrated product protects residential plants from damage caused by both chewing and sucking pests such as ants, grasshoppers, and thrips. When pests make contact with treated foliage they will face muscle spasms, paralysis, then eventual death within a few hours, but you will see a significant decrease in activity in 4-8 days.
Bonide Eight Insect Control Vegetable, Fruit, & Flower Concentrate is a cost-effective insecticide concentrate that helps homeowners enjoy a pest-free, vibrant outdoor environment for up to 4 weeks. Its broad-spectrum efficacy, long-lasting protection, and customizable application make it a standout choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or hose-end sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Eight Insect Control Vegetable, Fruit, & Flower Concentrate to use by measuring the treatment area's square footage. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For ants, crickets and grasshoppers in lawns, use 2 fl. oz. of Bonide Eight Insect Control Vegetable, Fruit, & Flower Concentrate in 3 gallons of water to cover 1,000 sq. ft. For other listed insects in lawns, use 6 fl. oz. of product in 10 gallons of water to cover 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and agitate the tank until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Thoroughly wet down the lawn a few hours before applying. Spray the top and bottom of leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff.
