Tytan Outdoor and Auto Insulating Foam Sealant is a professional, ready to use polyurethane insulating foam that is used to seal off cracks, crevices, holes and much more with a water and tight black foam seal. Specifically formulated for outdoor use to keep out bugs, rodents, and other pests from finding a point of entry into your residential home.
Tytan Outdoor and Auto Insulating Foam Sealant also formerly known as Black Out Pest Control Foam, manufactured by Selena Group, is a polyurethane foam sealant ideal for sealing and filling small gaps, cracks, voids and other possible pest points of entry for full pest prevention in homes.
This ready to use low-pressure foam creates a tight barrier against moisture, air, and pest infiltration for long periods of time without deteriation from heat or various abrasions. This black colored sealent can easily blend into its surroundings including black undercarriages, auto wiring, and pipes.
Tytan Outdoor and Auto Insulating Foam Sealent is an environmentally friendly product that can work in various termperatures and environments, with its water-tight seal it is safe to apply around Koi Ponds or waterfalls.
Tools Needed
To use Tytan Outdoor and Auto Insulating Foam Sealent, you will need an applicator gun to precisely apply the foam, paper towels to clean up any mess, acetone or nail polish remover, and a spray water bottle.
How to Use
- Step 1: Identify and prep the areas where you should apply the Tytan Outdoor and Auto Insulating Foam Sealant Foam and shake the product well before use. Remove any intruding material blocking access of the area to be foamed. Make sure to clean any treatment areas surface and degrease if needed.
- Step 2: Put on protective gloves then vigorously shake the Tytan Outdoor and Auto Insulating Foam Sealant can for 10 to 20 seconds with valve facing down to thoroughly mix the components. Screw the product onto the application gun. Attach the accompanying straw, invert the container and begin dispensing the foam to the target areas to seal cracks and crevices.
- Step 3: Slowly apply the Tytan Outdoor and Auto Insulating Foam Sealant with the valve facing down. Vertical gaps should be filled with foam starting at the bottom and moving up. Do not fill the entire gap - the foam will increase in volume. Depending on the temperature and humidity will determine the time it will take for foam to dry. Allow at least 24 hours to pass after application, before removing excess of foam.
Where to Use
Tytan Foam can be used indoors or outdoors. It is ideal to seal gaps and cracks around home structures, RV undercarriages, landscaping, around plumbing, exterical electrical outlets, crawlspaces and home foundations, and other areas where pests may invade.
Ideal adhestion surfaces to apply this product to: brick, concrete, plaster work, wood, metals, styrofoam, hard PVC, and rigid PUR.
In case of sealing open woodwork, gaps >1,18 in (3 cm) are not recommended. Gaps >1,97 in (5 cm) are unacceptable. Slots wider than 1,18 in (3 cm) from the bottom to fill up from one wall to the other alternatively forming a zigzag pattern.
When to Use
Use the Tytan Foam as part of a pest management program which includes exclusion to keep unwanted pests out of a structure or other sensitive area.

Tytan Outdoor and Auto Insulating Foam Sealant is safe to use around humans and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or applying this product.
This product should not be used in spaces without access of fresh air and poorly ventilated or in places exposed to direct sunlight.
Special Considerations
Removing excess hardened foam can only be done mechanically such as with a knife.
Fresh foam should be removed with polyurethane foam cleaner.
Tytan Outdoor and Auto Insulating Foam Sealant will display lack of adhesion to polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, silicone, and teflon.
