We no longer carry the Coxreels Manual Hose Reel. The interim product is the Hannay Series 1500 Manual Hose Reel (1520).

Coxreels Manual Hose Reel (1125-4-200) is a manual hose reel that is designed to be mounted on a professional pesticide spraying rig and is capable of holding different sized hoses depending on the hose thickness (300' of 3/8" ID or 200' of 1/2" ID). This reel model has a steel "A" frame base, a low profile outlet riser, and open drum slot design provides a non-crimping, flat smooth hose wrap. The O-rings are made of a Viton material which actually helps increase the life expectancy of the gaskets. The reel also comes with a brass swivel that is rated up to 3000 psi. It also comes with a locking mechanism which you can pull out to allow it to free spin. This is one of the go-to reels that we use for our custom spray rigs.

Tools Needed

To use the Coxreels Manual Hose Reel you will first need to mount it onto your spraying rig and wrap a hose around the reel. This will require some tools for assembly such as a wrench for tightening bolts.

How to Use

• Step 1: Mount the Coxreel hose reel onto your spraying rig and make sure it is tightly secured.
• Step 2: Wrap your hose and spray gun around the Coxreels Manual Hose Reel, making sure to follow the instruction manual for details on how to properly set it up.
• Step 3: Use the locking mechanism to lock the hose in place and unlock it when you need to spin out some hose during a spray application.
• Step 4: Use the hand crack to manually spin the loose hose back onto the reel.

Special Considerations

The Coxreels Manual Hose Reel is a manual reel which needs to be hand-cranked by the operator and guided by the operator so it wraps evenly around the reel. There are electric reels which can work automatically and takes the labor out of manually rolling up the hose.
