Bird-X Bird Stop Repellent Spray
Bird-X Bird Stop Repellent Spray is an organic bird repellent liquid that creates an invisible barrier with an unpleasant smell to keep birds from landing or loitering in a selected area. It is safe to use and contains no harmful chemicals.
10/03/25
Bird-X Bird Stop Repellent Spray, manufactured by Bird-X, is a potent and natural liquid bird repellent that is easy to apply in most areas.
This product uses an active ingredient called methyl anthranilate, which is derived from Concord grapes. It creates an offensive odor to birds, making it unpleasant to land or nest in a treated area.
Just one application can deliver success in keeping birds away. Followup applications will make even the most stubborn birds not want to return and cause damage.
Tools Needed
You can apply this product with the most common insecticide sprayers, such as handheld or backpack sprayers, or you can paint the product onto a surface with a paintbrush.
How to Use
- Step 1: Identify the areas where the birds are most active and measure the square footage of the infested area so you will know how much Bird-X Bird Stop Repellent Spray is needed. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet and then multiply the two values (length X width = square footage). Use 1.3 oz to 7.7 oz. of Bird-X Bird Stop Repellent Spray in 1 to 6 gallons of water to cover 1,000 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer halfway with water, then add the required product to the sprayer. Fill your sprayer with the remaining amount of water, screw on the lid, and agitate the sprayer.
- Step 3: Apply the product evenly in the desired areas, ensuring you do not miss any spots that would allow birds to return to the area.
Where to Use
Bird-X Bird Stop Repellent Spray can be applied in many areas. It is safe to use over fruit trees such as apples, peaches, etc., as well as berry bushes and trees. It can also be applied to turf and ornamentals, non-fish-bearing bodies of water such as water impoundments and fountains, and in and on structures.
When to Use
Use this product when birds are a nuisance to your crops or just nesting in an area. Begin application when fruit begins to ripen, or birds start feeding. If birds reappear, reapply every 5 to 8 days.
Safety Information
Bird-X Bird Stop Repellent Spray is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
