The Birchmeier Iris 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer, manufactured by Birchmeier, is a reliable sprayer for indoor and outdoor pest and weed control. It can hold 4 gallons of liquid and is made with durable, high-quality materials.

The Birchmeier Iris sprayer is lightweight and comes with an easy-to-adjust 20-inch brass wand that gives solid reach for spraying in hard-to-reach areas. It can be used for a variety of spraying jobs, both big and small.

This sprayer has an impact-resistant 15-liter plastic UV-stabilized tank with a robust stainless steel frame that will hold pressure up to 87 PSI. 

Tools Needed

This backpack sprayer requires no tools, but the spray hose, pump handle, and spray wands will need to be assembled.

How to Use

• Step 1: Prepare the Sprayer for use by screwing the pump lever into the pump shaft and fitting the hose. Follow the directions that come with the product for proper safety and application instructions, and assemble the sprayer parts accordingly.
• Step 2: Add water to the sprayer tank about halfway. Then measure and mix your selected pesticide into the sprayer according to the pesticide label directions and then fill it with water the rest of the way. Secure the lid and agitate until well-mixed.
• Step 3: Place the backpack sprayer on your back and adjust the strap until it is comfortably snug.
• Step 4: Pump the sprayer a few times, and you will be ready to apply it to your target areas.

Where to Use

Use the Birchmeier 4 Gallon indoors or outdoors around the home or building in areas where you have seen pest activity. It can also be used as a perimeter spray around the exterior of a home. You can also spray it around lawns and ornamentals, greenhouses, or other areas where you must address a problem.

When to Use

The Birchmeier 4-Gallon Backpack Sprayer should be used when you have a larger-than-average job for which a hand-held 1-gallon sprayer won't be enough and you need to treat a wide area for pests.

Special Considerations

This backpack sprayer is not battery-powered but a manual pump sprayer in backpack form. When the appliance has been out of use for an extended period, slightly tighten the lubricating piston (S) in the lowest piston position (lever points upwards).
