The Birchmeier Iris 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer is manufactured by Birchmeier and is a reliable sprayer for indoor and outdoor pest control and weed control. This sprayer can hold 4 gallons of liquid and is made with durable high-quality materials.

The Birchmeier Iris sprayer is lightweight and comes with an easy to adjust 20-inch brass wand that gives solid reach for spraying in areas that are hard to get to. Use it for a variety of spraying jobs both big and small. This sprayer has an impact-resistant 15-liter plastic UV stabilized tank with a robust stainless steel frame that will hold pressure up to 87 PSI. 

Tools Needed

There are no tools needed to use the Birchmeier 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer but there will be some assembly required of the spray hose, pump handle and spray wands.

How to Use

• Step 1: Prepare the Sprayer for use by screwing the pump lever into the pump shaft and fit the hose. Follow the directions that come with the product for proper safety and application instructions and assemble the sprayer parts accordingly.
• Step 2: Add water to the sprayer tank about halfway and then measure and mix your selected pesticide into the sprayer according to the pesticide label directions and then fill with water the rest of the way. Secure the lid and agitate until well mixed.
• Step 3: Place the backpack sprayer onto your back and then adjust the strap until it is comfortably snug on your back.
• Step 4: Pump the sprayer a few times and you are ready to apply to your target areas.

Where to Use

Use the Birchmeier 4 Gallon indoors or outdoors around the home or building in areas where you have seen pest activity. This can be also used as a perimeter spraying around the exterior of a home. You can also spray it around lawns and ornamentals, greenhouses or other areas where you need to address a problem.

When to Use

The Birchmeier 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer should be used when you have a larger than average job that a hand-held 1-gallon sprayer won't be enough for and you need to treat a wide area for pests.

Safety Information

Read the label carefully and only use the product in accordance with label directions. Keep out of reach of children and make sure to wear the proper PPE when using the sprayer to apply pesticides. Make sure not to leave chemicals in the sprayer when not in use and clean the sprayer out regularly.

Special Considerations

This backpack sprayer is not battery powered but is a manual pump sprayer in backpack form. When the appliance has been out of use for a long period, tighten up the lubricating piston (S) in the lowest piston position (lever points upwards) slightly.
