The VT-621A Valve Seat Gasket is made by B&G Equipment and it is used in the B&G Versatool handle. The VT-621A Valve Seat Gasket is part of the Versatool and it is located below the valve rod. A valve seat gasket which needs replacement can cause a leak where the pipe and valve are connected in the unit. This can normally happen when the gasket is worn, damaged or dirty.

Tools Needed

To remove and replace the VT-621A Valve Seat Gasket you will need gloves and an adjustable wrench.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Before starting we will need to remove the hose with chemicals and flush out any chemicals that could be left in the unit. To flush out the unit simply add clean water and triple rinse. Once the unit is clean, bring the Versatool to a clear working area (preferably a table) to dismantle the unit due to the many small parts.
  • Step 2: Use the adjustable wrench to remove the cone seal retainer nut holding the seal in place. Once this is removed, the seal can simply slide out and the new seal gasket can be installed.
  • Step 3: Reassemble the Versatool and then add clean water to the unit and test the unit by simply spraying the unit.

Where to Use

The VT-621A Valve Seat Gasket is used in the B&G Robco Termite tool and it is located below the pedal weldment.

When to Use

The VT-621A Valve Seat Gasket is replaced when it becomes damaged or worn or to stop leaks.

Safety Information

Be sure to wear gloves when handling sprayer parts, as there may be residue from chemicals or buildup on the sprayer parts. Be sure to properly drain and clean the sprayer parts before performing maintenance. Keep the parts out of reach of pets and children.

Special Considerations

Along with the Valve seat gasket, check to see if any other small parts on the termite tool need replacing such as the spring rod, O-Ring and valve rod. Set a maintenance schedule for your termite tool gun and change out all the parts in one shot to save time, so your Versatool is ready to use without a long delay.
