Benefit 60 WP
Benefit 60 WP is a professional-grade insecticide delivering long-lasting, foliar and systemic protection against a wide range of pests on ornamental and vegetable plants in greenhouses, nurseries, and interior plantscapes, ensuring healthy, pest-free growth where it matters most.
09/13/25
Benefit 60 WP, manufactured by Everris, is a highly effective foliar and systemic insecticide that offers long-lasting control against damaging ornamental and vegetable insects, both the ones you can see and the ones hiding inside the plant.
This wettable powder insecticide is powered by Imidacloprid 60%, which works by disrupting the insect’s nervous system, leading to rapid knockdown and death. Once absorbed through the plant’s roots or leaves, imidacloprid moves through the plant’s vascular system, protecting new growth from pests that feed internally.
Benefit 60 WP is a reliable, dual mode of action insecticide that provides professional plant growers with greenhouses, nurseries, and interior plantscapes total insect control. It’s not just about killing pests it’s about giving your plants the chance to thrive without constant insect stress. And when used responsibly as part of an IPM strategy, Benefit 60 WP can deliver both immediate relief and lasting results.
Tools Needed
A chemigation system can be used.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Benefit 60 WP to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For ornamentals, use 1 packet per 100 gallons of water. To treat grassy areas of field and forest nurseries, apply one packet per 2 gallons of water per 2,900 to 3,850 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Mix in a separate tank container. Fill it with half the amount of water. To prepare the mixture, remove the outer foil pouch and drop the required number of unopened clear water soluble packets into the water. Next, pour the remaining half of the water into the tank. Agitate until well-mixed. Depending on the water temperature and the degree of agitation, the packets should be completely dissolved within a few minutes from the time they are added to the water.
- Step 3: Inject the solution into your irrigation system during the final 30 to 60 minutes of a normal watering cycle. Ensure uniform distribution across all containers and treatment areas.
