Balcony Gard by Bird-X is a low-profile electronic repellent that projects quiet ultrasonic sounds to chase away annoying birds from small outdoor areas around the home or place of business. It is a safe and humane means of controlling birds that trespass upon your property. Balcony Gard is effective, saving you the need to use chemicals, traps or poisons to keep birds away. You can set Balcony Gard for continuous use or put it in the motion-activated mode which will make the noises go off upon the Balcony Gard sensing the bird nearby (within 900 square feet).

Balcony Gard works by emitting frequencies that annoy and agitate birds but are silent to human ears. You can also adjust the volume with the volume control on the device. The best thing about it is that it can be used in any type of weather and will be unaffected by rain.

Tools Needed

There are no tools needed to set up the Balcony Gard but you will need batteries or an AC outlet to power the device.

How to Use

• Step 1: Plug in the Balcony Gard or insert batteries into the device
• Step 2: Place it in an area outdoors around your home structure or place of business.
• Step 3: Adjust the volume to your liking and let the Balcony Gard do its thing.

Where to Use

Balcony Gard is perfect for areas where birds are frequenting and you'd prefer quiet. Enclosed and semi-enclosed areas are ideal. Balcony Gard's ultrasound waves are most effective where they can bounce off walls or ceilings, due to their direct projection and short wavelength. Outdoors, expect best results from an ultrasonic bird repellent in small areas like porches, balconies, and patios.

When to Use

Use Balcony Gard when you are encountering a lot of birds in an area that may be damaging property and accumulating filth.

Safety Information

Balcony Gard is absolutely safe to use and there is no need for any PPE when installing the product. Be sure to use it in accordance with the label and set the frequency volume at a level that isn't too high unless needed.

There is also a 110V version of Balcony Gard as well that you can purchase for a more low powered form of bird control.
