B&G Packing Nut With O-Ring
B&G Packing Nut With O-Ring
The B&G Packing Nut with O-Ring is manufactured by B&G Equipment Company and is a brass nut specifically sold for use as a specialty part for B&G sprayer models that were made between 1999 and 2000. The B&G Packing Nut with O-Ring is a part of the handle of the spray wand for the B&G Sprayers. If your valve is leaking around the packing nut and the handle is wet, replacing the packing nut may solve the problem.
Tools Needed
To use the B&G Packing Nut With O-Ring, you will need a B&G Sprayer with an Extenda-Ban Valve extension wand that is made from 1999-2000 and a 7/16 wrench.
How to Use
- Step 1: Following the manufacturer instructions for details, detach the valve and extension from the hose. Carefully remove the mesh strainer and squeeze the trigger to drain all the liquid from the valve.
- Step 2: Remove the trigger, then the snap ring, safety lock nut, the adjustment screw, the lock nut and then the packing nut. Push the cable out of the front of the extension. Replace the old packing nut with the new packing nut and tighten.
- Step 3: Reassemble the Extenda-Ban valve, making sure to tighten all parts so that they are secure. Then test the valve out by spraying the unit and checking for leaks.

The B&G Packing Nut With O-Ring is used primarily for B&G Sprayers with the extenda-ban valve that were built between 1999 and 2000.
