The B&G 428 Pipe 7/16" X 40" is manufactured by B&G Equipment and is an extension pipe accessory designed to be used with the Versatool Termite application tool. The Pipe is made with durable stainless steel and is ideal when applying termiticides under concrete slabs or in soils outside building perimeters.

If you're looking to conduct a termite barrier treatment which requires applying termiticide beneath soil, these extension pipes are necessary to conduct an accurate application.

Tools Needed

To use the B&G 428 Pipe 7/16" X 40" you will need either a Versatool termite treatment tool. You may also need a wrench to help you tighten the pipes.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Following manual directions, attach the B&G 428 Pipe 7/16" X 40" to your Versatool valve assembly rod using a wrench. The extension connects to the standard pipe. Tighten it using a wrench if you need to.
  • Step 2: Reassemble the Versatool and add termiticide to the tool to prepare for the injection application by drilling a 9/16" or larger hole for treating beneath concrete slabs.
  • Step 3: Test the Versatool out to ensure the termiticide travels from the valve assembly down the pipe extension and out of the tip.

Where to Use

The B&G 428 Pipe 7/16" X 40" is used in the B&G Versatool termite tool. It is attached to the end of the Versatool Valve to get deep penetration in voids under concrete slab or in soils around the outside perimeters of building.

When to Use

Use the B&G 428 Pipe 7/16" X 40" when you are trenching or treating for termites and need to apply termiticide to a void that may be hard to treat normally and would require a termite toold.

Safety Information

The B&G 428 Pipe 7/16" X 40" tip is safe to install when done so according to manual directions. Please have on the proper PPE when treating for termites. Keep the tip out of reach of pets and children as the tip is very small and can be accidentally swallowed

Special Considerations

Aside from the B&G 428 Pipe 7/16" X 40", there is also a 5/8" x 40 inch extension pipe for treating larger drilled holes.
