B&G 4-Way C&C Tip Holder
B&G 4-Way C&C Tip Holder
The 4-way C&C Tip Holder is made by B&G Equipment and it is used in the wands of the B&G Prime Line Sprayers. The 4-way C&C Tip Holder is located at the front of the wand right behind the tip.
There are two major problems that the 4-way C&C Tip Holder can cause when it is worn, damaged or dirty. The first problem is the tank holds pressure, but there is no spray from the nozzle. This normally happens with an older unit. The second problem is the extension wand is leaking at the tip with a constant drip. Replacing the tip can stop the leaking and get your sprayer performing like normal.
Tools Needed
To remove and replace the 4-way C&C Tip Holder you will need gloves and 2 wrenches to properly loosen the tip assembly.
How to Use
- Step 1: Before starting, you will need to decompress the tank and flush out any chemicals that could be left in the wand. To flush out the tank simply add clean water to the tank and triple rinse. Once the tank is clean you will need a clean working area preferably a table to dismantle the unit due to the many small parts.
- Step 2: Use one wrench to hold the extension and the second wrench to loosen the tip assembly. Once the tip assembly is removed, the soft seat gasket will simply fall down. Inspect the 4-way C&C Tip Holder to determine if replacing or cleaning is needed.
- Step 3: When placing the 4-way C&C Tip Holder back into the wand you will need to make sure it is facing the correct way. To make installation easy you will need to press the trigger to retract the Seat stem into the Extension, then attach the tip and nozzle. Then tighten the tip by using 2 wrenches; one to hold the extension and the second to tighten the tip assembly.
- Step 4: Add clean water to the tank and test the wand by simply spraying the unit.
Where to Use
The 4-way C&C Tip Holder is used in the B&G Sprayer wands with the Extenda-Ban Valve and it is located behind the tip.
When to Use
The 4-way C&C Tip Holder is replaced when it becomes damaged or worn.
