How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Award Turf 20-0-8 Fertilizer with 0.067% Acelepryn Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the pest, apply 3.44 to 6.88 pounds of Award Turf 20-0-8 Fertilizer with 0.067% Acelepyrn Insecticide per 1,000 sq. ft. For maximum residual effectiveness or for optimal control of large pest infestations, this product may be applied at up to 500 pounds per acre. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Calibrate the spreader to the proper setting then add in the correct amount of granules.
- Step 3: Spread the granules evenly across the treatment area, but avoid overlaps. Irrigate turf immediately after application or allow rainfall to move the product into the soil. If needed, wait 7 days after the first application before retreating.
