Avalon Insecticide
Avalon Insecticide is a powerful, fast-acting insecticide that protects lawns, landscapes, buildings, and recreational areas from destructive insects. Its powerful formula works indoors and outdoors, giving professionals and do-it-yourselfers reliable, long-lasting protection with every application.
04/10/26
Avalon Insecticide, manufactured by Prokoz, is an excellent, broad-spectrum insecticide and termiticide formulated for indoor and outdoor pest management across residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial environments.
It isn’t just another general bifenthrin-based insecticide. It’s designed to solve real-world pest control challenges where coverage, consistency, and reliability matter most. Bifenthrin works by affecting the insect’s nervous system, disrupting normal function and leading to control through contact and residual exposure. This dual action supports both immediate knockdown and 3-month protection against pests like termites, ants, silverfish, and cockroaches.
Avalon Insecticide is a multi-use insecticide and termiticide concentrate designed for real-world pest control challenges. Its broad-spectrum activity, long-lasting residual, and flexibility across indoor, outdoor, lawn, ornamental, animal facility, and structural applications make it a trusted choice for pest management professionals and serious property managers. When used as a termiticide, it adds another layer of confidence by protecting structures from one of the most destructive pests of all.
Tools Needed
You will need a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Avalon Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To find the square footage, measure the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For general pest control, apply 1 fl. oz. of Avalon Insecticide per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Depending on the pest, use 0.125 to 1.0 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. of ornamentals and greenhouse. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: First fill the spray tank partially with water, add the product, and then fill the rest of the tank while agitating thoroughly to ensure a uniform mixture before application. Keep the solution well-mixed during use to maintain consistent coverage.
- Step 3: Adjust the sprayer to deliver a fine, coarse spray pattern. Do not spray to the point of runoff. A second application can be made when 5 to 7 days have passed from the first application.
