Audit 1:1 Herbicide
Audit 1:1 Herbicide
Audit 1:1 Herbicide is a dependable, preplant burndown herbicide that offers consistent post-emergent control of weeds for faster removal of foliage and cleaner seedbed.
Audit 1:1 Herbicide, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is an effective water dispersible granule that provides selective post-emergent weed control in wheat (including durum), barley, oat, triticale, and fallow.
The double active ingredient formulation helps to improve burndown of weeds resulting in cleaner seedbed and better replanting and rotation of crops with no time restrictions.
Audit 1:1 Herbicide continues to be resilient and has proven, time and again, that various agricultural crops have better yield and growth rates without hindrance of broadleaf weeds.
Tools Needed
To apply Audit 1:1 Herbicide, you will need to use a spray rig or helicopter.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Audit 1:1 Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For general applications, use 0.4 to 1.0 oz. of Audit 1:1 Herbicide in 15-20 gallons of water per acre for ground equipment applications. Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Audit 1:1 Herbicide, then fill the rest of the way with remaining amount of water. Shake the tank until it is evenly mixed.
- Step 3: Adjust ground application equipment to deliver a coarse spray and make applications no more than 3 feet above the ground or crop canopy unless making a turf, pasture, or rangeland application, in which case applicators may apply with a nozzle height no more than 4 feet above the ground with Audit 1:1 Herbicide. When using aerial equipment, spray no higher than 10 feet above the vegetative canopy, unless a greater application height is necessary for pilot safety.
Where to Use
Audit 1:1 Herbicide can be applied to weeds in wheat, barley, oats, triticale, and fallow sites.
Do not use on lawns, walks, driveways, or tennis courts. Prevent drift of spray to desirable plants.
When to Use
Use Audit 1:1 Herbicide when weeds haved passed the cotyledon stage, actively growing, and less than 4" tall or wide. If weeds are in these stages, then be sure to also check that wheat, barley, oats, and triticale are not stressed by severe weather conditions, drought (including low levels of subsoil moisture), low fertility, water saturated soil, disease, or insect damage, as crop injury may result
Do not harvest wheat or barley sooner than 45 days after the last application of this product.
Risk of injury is greatest when crop is in the 2- to 5-leaf stage.
Avoid applications when rainfall is expected to occur the next 48 hours after treatment.
Safety Information
Audit 1:1 Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not graze treated fields or feed treated forage or hay. Harvested straw may be used for bedding and/or feed.
Keep people and pets out of treated areas until 24 hours have passed after application.
Special Considerations
Do not use chlorine bleach with ammonia as dangerous gases will form. DO NOT clean equipment in an enclosed area.

Keith's Pro Tips | “Aduit 1:1 Herbicide may be used in combination with a flucabazone containing herbicide for broadspectrum grass and broadleaf control in wheat and durum wheat only. Tank mixing this product with a flucarbazone containing herbicide will provide additional broadleaf weed control and increase the activity on grassy weeds like yellow foxtail.” |
