Assail 30SG Insecticide is a productive neonicotinoid insecticide that moves rapidly throughout treated foliage through systemic action to control all stages of chewing and sucking insects. Agricultural crop growers are ensured total crop protection without harm to beneficial pests like bees with the superior and stronger formulation of this product.
Tools Needed
To apply Assail 30SG Insecticide, you will need to use a spray rig, aircraft application equipment, or chemigation system.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Assail 30SG Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For general applications on strawberries and other low growing berries (with crop sub-group 13-07G) use 4.0 fl. oz. of Assail 30SG Insecticide per 15 gallons of water per acre. Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Assail 30SG Insecticide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Shake the tank until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Thoroughly cover the foliage with Assail 30SG Insecticide, but not to the point of runoff. Reapply as instructed for the specific foliage you are treating as directed on the label.
