Armadillo Scram Professional, manufactured by Epic, is a dual-action formula designed to control and prevent armadillos from trespassing upon lands and damaging property.
This granule product is all-natural, containing a unique blend of oils in a granular formulation that will repel armadillos if they get a whiff of the granule up close or taste the granule.
Armadillo Scram Professional effectively keeps armadillos off lawns and garden areas as large as 13,200 sq. ft. It is environmentally safe without harming animals, plants, people, or pets.
Tools Needed
This repellent comes ready to use as it comes with a scoop spoon, or you can shake the granules out of the container by hand.
As an alternative option, you can use a hand spreader or push spreader to spread the granules in the area you wish to treat.
How to Use
- Step 1: Inspect and observe the areas where armadillos have been active. Determine how much Armadillo Scram Professional to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet and multiply them together (length x width = square footage). 1 pound of Armadillo Scram can cover 625 square feet. So, for example, if you measured an area of 1250 sq. ft., you would need to spread 2 pounds of granules.
- Step 2: Using a rotary spreader, sprinkle the granules as a protective band around the perimeter of your property and over areas where armadillos have been active. Apply at least 30 ft beyond and around the infested area. Afterward, water the granules you've spread for five minutes.
- Step 3: Apply a second spread of granules 14 days later over the same areas. The first application will drive them out of affected areas, and the second application will ensure they do not return for more than 45 days.
- Step 4: Reapply as needed after 30 to 45 days to achieve complete control.
